Casual dining in ritzy part of town
Czech Business Weekly, 2007-10-08 Pepe Nero, which opened on the corner of Bílkova and Elišky Krásnohorské streets in June 2007, sets its sights somewhat higher than the usual tourist pizza parlor. Its menu offers few surprises with its selection of pizzas, salads, pastas and Italian standards, but there is quality in the delivery. And unlike the restaurant’s historical namesake, the waitstaff and owner are welcoming and attentive.

Expats.cz, 2007-07-01 The menu is rather traditional Italian fare: starters that seem mainly comprised of slivers (parma ham, carpaccio – beef or salmon etc.) of goodies, followed by first courses (gnocchi, spaghetti, rigatoni, lasagne – and minestrone soup), meat dishes (entrecote, chicken and veal), salads (all but two containing fish or meat), pizzas (nothing new under the sun), calzone and panuozzo. Vegetarians are in for an uninspiring time with variants on Greek or caprese salads, and, if lucky, perhaps some aubergine, zucchini or artichokes. |
